VP275 Multi-Purpose Silicone Sealant

A one-part, low modulus, neutral curing silicone sealant specifically formulated for use on vinyl products in the siding & window industry.

Recommended For

VP275 is specifically formulated for use on vinyl products in the siding and window industry, well suited for use in new construction, remodeling and remedial jobs, renovation work and service/maintenance projects that require sealants. Bonds to treated or untreated wood, steel, aluminum, brass and some plastics; glass, ceramic, tiles, brick, concrete, mortar and most other masonry materials.  Highly recommended for expansion joints, metal curtain walls or modular component applications, glazing of glass and perimeter sealing including weatherproof sealing around vinyl, metal or wood windows and siding in residential construction.

For Best Results

Not recommended for the following applications:  joints subject to continuous water immersion (swimming pools, boats); horizontal joints or traffic bearing joints where abrasion resistance is required (walkways, driveways, runways); applications in totally confined or air-free spaces;  sealing green or vulcanized rubber, marble or granite surfaces; use with potable water systems; direct contact on the reflective coatings on mirrors; applications requiring painting as paint will not adhere to silicone.
