Titebond All Weather Subfloor Adhesive

Titebond All Weather Subfloor Adhesive is the ideal choice for subfloor installations. It is designed for particleboard, OSB, engineered lumber and wet, frozen and treated lumber. It offers a strong initial tack, provides superior strength and remains permanently flexible. Titebond All Weather fills gaps and irregularities between materials and provides a more solid backup surface. It reduces the amount of nailing and helps eliminate squeaky floors. It also works extremely well in colder temperatures. Exceeds the performance requirements of the APA's AFG-01, ASTM D3498 and ASTM C557 specifications.

Application Guidelines

Application Temperature 0°F. to 100°F.

Service Temperature Range -20°F. to 120°F.

Method of Application Cartridge/caulking gun

Working Surfaces Surfaces to be bonded should be clean and free from excessive oil, grease, water, dirt or any other material that may deter adhesion. Apply adhesive to each piece of furring, studs or floor joists to be covered. When bonding subfloors or wet, frozen and treated lumber, nail or screw each sheet as recommended by the American Plywood Association.

Working Time Approximately 10-20 minutes for a 1/4" bead

Cleanup Scrape off dried excess with a putty knife. Remove residue with mineral spirits or equivalent solvent. Follow solvent vendor's precautions when using solvents. NOTE: Test solvent on an out-of-the-way area to make sure it will not mar or attack the surface.

Limitations

Titebond All Weather Subfloor Adhesive is not designed for continuous submersion or for use on polystyrene foams. For polystyrene foam, tub surrounds and most other plastics, we recommend Titebond Interior/Exterior Construction Adhesive.

Do not allow eye contact or prolonged skin contact. Uncured product can cause eye or skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated overexposure to solvents in uncured product can cause central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, eye, skin, liver, kidney or respiratory system effects. First Aid: If dizziness or other adverse effects are experienced, move to fresh air; call physician if discomfort persists. If eye contact occurs, flush eyes with water for 15 minutes; contact physician immediately. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; contact physician immediately. Wash skin contact areas with soap and water; contact physician if irritation persists.
